6 DIY SOLUTIONS TO REVIVE YOUR HAIR FROM STRESS AND DAMAGE

During the summer months, our hair is constantly attacked by different factors, such as the sun, the chlorine from the usual pool parties, the saltwater from the casual beach days, you name it... Our hair endures it. But how much can it take?

Needless to say, even though we're on vacation these months... our hair certainly is not. This is why it's extremely important to be extra careful and protective of our hair during this season.

I know the most obvious thing to do would be to charge up that credit card at your local salon or beauty supply shop, but you might as well already have all the revival-necessary items in the comfort of your own home.

The things we keep in our homes to help us feel better or feed us always have more than one purpose. It just takes a little research to discover the secret properties of these items.

The irony is that many of these items are ingredients found in the expensive hair products sold at beauty stores. However, some of these expensive products are also loaded with chemicals that lessen the benefits of the natural ingredients.

With that being said, sometimes it's smarter to just go straight to the source, which in this case, already sits in your home.

For the ultimate summer hair protection and revival, you will want to choose resources that add strength, shine, vitality, clean scalp, and growth to your hair. Herbs, fruits, and vegetables do amazing things for DIY hair treatments.

Create your own treatments to revitalize your hair, or simply try some of these easy, beneficial, and soothing formulas for shiny, healthy curls!
